My fondest memory of Kenneth was when I was visiting him as a chaplain from hospice and as we prayed the Lord’s Prayer, he leaned in towards me and I leaned in to hear what he was saying; and in a sweet whisper, he said, “Talk to my wife, she needs to know. She needs to know where I am going. She need not worry.” Ann is what mattered most to Kenneth. He didn’t want her to worry. And, from that day on, Ann and I connected and talked and talked and talked about everything until Kenneth died. But, most importantly, we talked about Psalm 23. It is what Kenneth wanted Ann to know; where he was going. Kenneth now dwells in the house of the Lord forever. Amen
