Miss Seidel, as she was during my 8th grade year, was such a positive role model to me. I loved singing in the choir and I will never forget our choir trips to festivals and New Orleans to sing a medley of French songs at the Fairmont Hotel.
Leslie was my choir teacher in 6th and 7 th grade at DeQuincy Jr. High in DeQuincy LA in 1974-76. When I think of teachers who made a positive impression on my life, Leslie was at the top of the list. I’m so glad to have had the opportunity to know her. I know she is singing with the angels!
I always enjoyed seeing Leslie when she came into the Mt. Zion Library. She was interested in many subjects and loved to read. She was very kind.Amanda Young

Leslie was our friend and walking companion for many years. She taught our coffee compadre Kathy to read. What a lovely and gracious lady she was. Never have we in our social circle met a sweeter humanitarian . Leslie spoke kindly to all who knew her. She was immensely proud of her sons and husband. She will be missed by our group who were so fortunate to share coffee with this lovely person for so many years. She and all of your family are in our hearts and prayers .
