What a WONDERFUL person!! I will greatly miss Lloyd!! Lloyd was not any relation to me but I have always felt he was part of my family. I miss him coming into the office to give me heck!!! It was great driving into the parking lot and seeing Lloyd there and ready for his appointment 30 min even before I was actually to be there. I would open the door and he would say "Your late!!! And last Christmas he tossed a (mens) catalog on my desk and said circle what you want. And I said what am I going to need out of a mens catalog??? He laughed!!! So I thought about how I could get back at him and I circled a few men models!!! haha A few days later I gave it back to him and you should of seen the smile on his face!!! PRICELESS!! I actually won that one!!! haha. Keep that smile Lloyd!!!! Alot of good memories!!!! Miss you!!!! Robbin
No one could ever ask for a better BIG BROTHER. I wasn't around for all of his racing endeavors, but I have been told by more than one person that he was one of the best race car builders around. There is no doubt in my mind that he could do anything after giving it some thought. He was a great carpenter building a new deck on Aunt Kates porch and helping me build a new garage and teaching me how to put siding on. He also restored a 1929 Model A pick-up for me which he fabricated some special tools for and a few parts which we could not buy. He earned my greatest well deserved respect and I will miss him more than I can ever imagine. Little brother Johnnie.
We met Lloyd one day at McD's. He was eating alone. We asked him to join us which he did, and from that day on we were best of friends. Lloyd was so wonderful to help when Jimmy (my hsuband) got sick. He came day or night if we needed him. He was also right there the day Jimmy passed away. Everywhere I look is something he did or made for us. I was so looking forward to the day he left St. John's, hoping I could help take care of him if needed, and repaying him for all he did for us. He was a wonderful friend. Rest in peace Lloyd. My love, Janet Hall
Was one of his friends at McDonalds. Will miss seeing him there. Loved to talk about the Cardinals . Doris Allen
I will never ever forget the days we spent at the race tracks and at his house. He was one of kind that's for sure. You will be missed. You taught us all a lot about racing and a lot about life. R.I.P. Mr. Clark
