Your Joanie Girl
To my beautiful mom. Almost every minute of every day I know you are resting well and living in eternity. May God bless you in the same way that you have blessed me in being my mother.Tell your dad hello for me!!I will miss you when I enter into every bathroom where we danced together and you always gave me that "certain grin." I will sing to you always as you always loved to hear my voice and wished I would have became a singer, so you could hear me sing more often. Thank you for telling me that I was a better singer than Dolly Parton. Thank you mom for your undieing love for me. Thank you mom for the cherished moments of laugher and kindness. Thank you mom for encouraging me to continue on with my education and believing in me in all that I ever did. Thank you for encouraging me to live my dreams. Making you proud was so very important to me. Hours of typing so many years ago, working double shifts to earn money and allowing me to sleep in the late morning until 9:00 a.m. It was in high school that you taught me to work so many hours and I am still at work now, writing this to you at 10:30 p.m. I never changed mom, I never changed. Thank you for your everlasting love and for being the greatest mother I could have ever hoped for. Thank you for encouraging me to write a letter at the age of six to the school board to give me transportation to a better school district than where I lived. The darn thing actually worked they sent me a bus until I graduated from high school. WOW! You knew we would not see each other often but you knew when we did we would have the greatest trips together. We found out that the place where your dad and mom met was really a church in Kentucky. Your father said "Queenie May, When I got you I got a Breeze from across the river!" Enjoy your family. We will meet again I am sure. "Amazing Grace How Sweet The Sound That Saved A Wretch Like Meeee.. I Once Was Lost But Now I Am Found… Was Blind But Now I See." Your not blind any more mom for "Now You See!!"My Forever Love Mom From "Your Joanie Girl."
