I just want to say thank you to all the friends and family for all that you did to make Mark’s memory and passing such a touching and deeply meaningful occasion. From the visitation with all the family and cousins there, to the dear friends and the wonderfully moving pastor’s words, to the rain that fell during the time of moving Mark to his final resting place under that big beautiful tree out in the country, it couldn’t have been more a celebration of truly a tender soul’s life. Mark was that, and like the deer that my brother Rick said would soon no doubt be grazing above him, his was a life among the trees and forests and fields of Central Illinois. He was and is greatly loved and missed. I for one appreciate all the efforts so many people made to express that very clear sentiment.
