Mark Hettinger's Obituary
Mark Steven Hettinger, 61, of Decatur passed away on April 11, 2019 at Decatur Memorial Hospital. He was born January 22, 1958 in Decatur, the son of Richard and Patricia Clavin Hettinger.
Mark was an avid hunter, fisher, and motorcycle enthusiast. He was a member of the United Riders Motorcycle Club. He loved sports shooting, mud drags, and animals.
He is survived by three daughters, Jenny Hettinger of Decatur; Candace Hettinger of Decatur; and Jamie (Tory) White of Decatur; two stepchildren, Jenny Brown of Decatur; and Nathaniel Ferguson of Lake City; eight grandchildren, Elijah and Chelsey Travis; Yana Fisher; Isaac Smith; Isabella Hettinger; Jasmine Grose; James Soules; and Deonte White; and three step grandchildren, Braxton Hoffman, Sophia Ferguson, and Aubrey Ferguson. He is also survived by three brothers, Doug Hettinger of Oakland, California; Gary (Lisa) Hettinger of Decatur; and Rick (Julie) Hettinger of Decatur; and a sister, Lisa (Dennis) Fundermark of Ft. Myers Beach, Florida.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 18th at 10 a.m. at Graceland/Fairlawn Funeral Home in Decatur. Burial will follow. Visitation will be held Wednesday evening, April 17th from 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
