How do you just share A memory when you have 61 years of memories with your momma. Mom was always my friend and loved me even through the teen age years. LOL My mom made the best chicken and noodles in the world and at every family dinner that's what we would ask her to bring. I remember the joy and how proud she was with each grandchild that was born. Her family was her greatest joy. She always looked forward to each birthday party and did not miss very many of them. I also know it helped to have ice cream and cake there too. LOL My Mother loved the Lord and was looking forward to the day when she would live eternally with Jesus. She was a faithful member of First General Baptist church. Mom loved life, Pizza parties, her children and grandchildren and friends. This last year while living at Glenwood assisted living she met many new friends and loved to play chicken foot and Bingo and would go to exercise classes daily if she could. She was very proud of the muscle she had build up on her arm and wanted me to feel it periodically. LOL I have a lifetime of memories with my momma. she was a very hard worker and PTA president in our younger years, cub scout leader for my brothers, she was my main caregiver during the days my husband had to go to work when I was going through Breast Cancer. I could go on and on and on with the memories but the memory that I am loving the best is that she Gave her Life to Christ at a young age and I now have the assurance that I will be able to once again someday be reunited with my loved ones. I WILL MISS YOU SO MUCH MOM. I will continue to live and love life with my family as you did yours. I will rejoice knowing that you are no longer in pain. Till we embrace again. Thank you for being my Momma and I LOVE YOU WITH ALL MY HEART.
