Michael P. Kussart's Obituary
Decatur – Michael P. Kussart, 62, of Decatur, passed away Tuesday, January 3, 2017 in Symphony of Decatur.
Michael was born April 8, 1954 in Decatur, the son of Jack P. and Laura G. (Conley) Kussart. An antique car enthusiast, Michael was the owner/operator of K&K’s Cleaning Service for 25 years. He loved to camp, garden, can foods, and loved being around family and friends. Michael married Susan K. Shepherd January 7, 1978 in Decatur.
Michael is survived by his wife, Susan of Decatur; sister-in-law, Ruth (Pat) Blair of Argenta; brother-in-law, Ron (Susie) Shepherd and family of TN; many relatives and friends.
Michael was preceded in death by his parents.
Memorial services will be 11 am, Saturday, January 7, 2017 in Graceland/Fairlawn Funeral Home; visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Burial will take place in Fairlawn Cemetery.
The family would like to thank the doctors and staff at DMH and Symphony of Decatur for taking great care of Michael.
