Nina Mae Minton's Obituary
Nina Mae Minton, 86, of Decatur, passed away Wednesday, October 28, 2020, at Decatur Memorial Hospital.
Nina was born November 21, 1933, in Decatur, IL to John E. and Ethel J. (Robinson) Taylor. She was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church. Nina was also an avid Chicago Cubs fan.
She is survived by her three sons, John B (Maria) Minton, William L. Minton and Charles R. (Mary Anthony) Minton; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; her brother, Richard (Evelyn) Taylor; and her two sisters, Juanita (Larry) Dietz and Linda Foley.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral services to celebrate the life of Nina Minton will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, November 4, 2020, at Graceland/Fairlawn Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Wednesday before the service at the funeral home. Entombment will be in the Mary Queen of Angels in Graceland Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the church.
