Patricia Jane Buckley, 82, of Decatur, went peacefully to be with the Lord on Wednesday, January 25, 2023. Pat was born December 20, 1940, daughter of Homer Earl and Golie (Cole) Starbody. She retired from Federal Kemper Insurance Read Obituary
Pat was quiet, but fun. She entered her mobility scooter in a car show and kept going as long as possible. In the nursing home, her table was the fullest and the most popular. She will continue to have a smile for everyone when she gets up above and for anyone on her way.
Pat was a great woman and dear friend. She was sweet and kind to everyone. We enjoyed a lot of time together with our weekly meet to eat group. She hadn’t been able to go since the Covid pandemic but we did see her often in the nursing home. She was a great friend and our heart aches that we’ve lost such a special person who was like family. She is no longer in pain and reunited with her loved ones in Heaven. Love you Pat until we see you again.
