Patricia B Hearring's Obituary
Patricia Hearring, 95, of Decatur, Illinois, passed away January 20, 2025, in her home.
Patricia was born in Morganfield, Kentucky, on November 27, 1929, the daughter of Driscoll and Asenath (Dodge) Berry. She married James S. Hearring on November 23, 1952, in Henderson, Kentucky. He preceded her in death in 2019. Patricia was devoted to her family and loved caring for them. Being from Kentucky, she was an avid fan of horses and “The Derby.” She enjoyed every opportunity to shop for antiques, read, dog-sit, and travel to her favorite destination, Panama City Beach.
Patricia is survived by her children Debra (Joe) Ruggeri of St. Louis and Bob (Lori) Hearring of Decatur; grandchildren Ana Ruggeri of Panama City Beach, FL, and Jacob (Rachelle) Roddis of Mt. Zion, IL; great-grandchildren Isabella, Grace, and Madeline; sister-in-law Alice Berry; 13 nieces and nephews; and beloved grand-dogs River and Casper. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brother Frank, and sisters Betsy, Bobbie, and Virginia.
A graveside service will be held at 2pm on Saturday, May 3, in Graceland Cemetery. Condolences may be shared with the family at www.gracelandfairlawn.com.
