There aren't enough good things to say about Pat. She is truly a one of a kind. She was inspirational and stronger than most could ever be. There are few people that I look up to and say I wish I was more like them. Pat is one of them. Our sadness and grief isn't for her but, it's for what we will miss. We love you Pat.
Dear Art and family,You probably don't remember me. We attended Tabernacle Baptist Church many years ago and I attended Bible study with Dianna Meyers along with Pat. I have been in your home and I enjoyed and admired Pat so much. She was so faithful to her Lord and you were very faithful in helping her. I know she heard the words "well done my good and faithful servant" when she entered Heaven.God bless and comfort you all,Lucille (Lucy) TubbGold Canyon, AZ
Thinking of you and your family, Andy. May loving memories of her comfort you during this difficult time.

I met Pat at Riverside Baptist church in Decatur,Il. One day, 27 years ago I had an accident and cut my face. She phoned to see how I was. Maybe, she could not whip up a meal but she and Art brought over K.F. C for my family. Yes, and did she pray for u, no matter who u were. I was in awe what she had done in her life! Teaching kids about Jesus was on her mind constantly. She didn't , just talk the talk but, she lived it.! Having a 5 Day Club in their yard she did for many years.Yes, she is at Jesus feet!!. Yes, one could say of her life, "Well done, good and faithful servant!! She was a very giving and loving person with such a large servants heart!! I remember telling her one day, I would give her my body if I could. Just so, she could walk and do things I had done for so many years. Well, she is walking without her wheelchair. She has a glorified body. No more wheelchair for her!! Maybe she could not put her arms out to hug u . She would put her head on your shoulder or near your head. U knew u had been hugged! What a inspiration to me and to my boys and to so , so many others!! No, or u cannot do that, was not in her vocabulary. She was a true fighter for what she believed in. Yes, she was a believer in Jesus Christ She will be missed by so many others!
