Mr. Flaugher, Cindy, and the rest of Randy's family: I am so sorry for your loss. Randy leaves another big hole in our circle of old high school friends. Whenever we gather in the future we will remember him and the fun times we shared going skiing on Lake Decatur, winging (pranking)each other, listening to music and sharing plans and dreams. As everyone who knew him can attest, Randy was an enthusiast. When he was interested in something Randy pursued it with all his being, and became an expert: flying, cycling, cars. He was generous about sharing what he loved with the rest of us. But Randy was defined most of all by his willingness to be there for his friends and neighbors. Randy was a steadfast, loyal friend and IÃ?¢ââ??‰â??¢ll miss him very much.
Mr. Flaugher and Cindy and family…I want you to know how sorry I am to hear of Randy's passing. I was in Africa at the time and apologize for not being able to be with you to celebrate his life…I love Randy and will miss him so much. I consider him to be one of the best friends I have ever had. Randy had a way of letting you reach down inside him to see and touch his heart. He was the kindest, sweetest and most caring person that God has ever created. Randy and I laughed together (many times), played together, cried together and shared many things together…I will always consider him to be my friend and my brother…I love you Randy…

So sorry to hear that Randy passed away. I got to know Randy through my sister, Becky, when they were in high school and saw him through the years. Randy was always smiling and laughing – a great guy to be around. My condolences to his family and friends.
Randy was a good neighbor and great friend. He loved all 3 of my daughters and they loved him. We have known Randy for 6 years andhe has always been a kind, thoughtful, and caring man. He would give you the shirt off his back if you needed it. He will be forever missed and his family will always be in our prayers.
Randy was a great man and filled with the wonders of life. He truly embodied the meaning of the word "gentleman". I knew Randy several years ago and have lost track of him. I was sad to learn of his passing and I wish his family the greatest comfort and God's blessings during this very difficult time.

I am very sorry to hear of Randy's passing. He was a flight student of mine at SIU and one of my favorites. He was always nice, easy going, and polite as well as a good student. We flew to his home during one training session where I met his family and had dinner in their home. Over the years I saw him at both his Houston and Decatur jobs, but lost track of him after he moved on from his ADM employment.My condolences to his family members. May peace and understanding be yours and the knowledge that Randy was well liked by those who knew him from his college days give you a smile.
