I am so sad that my cousin, Ray has passed. I'm in shock, really, but as soon as I received the tragic news, the memories of the THEVENOT kids (Linda, Debi, Leroy, Ray Jr., Gary & Tina) hanging out & playing together at our home in Macon or at Uncle Ray & Aunt Judy's house came flooding back. Our Dad, Roy Thevenot, was Ray's Dad's twin, and we kids were all the same ages. As we moved into adulthood, we scattered and lost track for many years. It was great to catch up with Ray over the past so many years on Facebook, especially since we share so many similar interests and world views. His birthday and anniversary wishes were always something I looked forward to. He was a "wild and crazy" guy that so many people, especially his wife, Linda, and family, as well as, so many good friends appreciated and loved. I admired RAY because he was his own man, a strong man in this FAITH, THOUGHTS & BEHAVIORS who wouldn't always bend to human imposed rules. His Life Code & Personal Ethics carried him, for he was a TRANSPARENT and HONEST MAN. He will be missed! RIP, Cousin Ray!
