I will never forget all the wonderful memories I have of Rey. He was a truly amazing person. He was always SO much fun to be around. I will miss sitting around his dining room table just shooting the breeze, talking about nothing, but enjoying each other's company with all of our friends, I'll miss the late night swimming parties in the summer time…I'll miss everything about him.My heart goes out to his entire family. I know how much I hurt, I can only imagine the pain that all of you feel. To say good bye to him today broke my heart into a zillion pieces. I'll carry him in my heart as long as I live.

Uncle Rey, you were my favorite uncle and the one I was always closest to. You were always there for me and my mom when we needed you, and we were there for you in your time of need. I went to your house two or three times over the weekend, and it felt so weird being there with your friends and family, but you weren't there. Everyone keeps saying they'll never get to see you again, but I know we will, even if it is awhile. I'll help everyone take good care of your kids, and I'll make sure they ALWAYS remember that you loved them very much and that they were your first priority. I think of you everyday. I love you and miss you soo much.
