We will miss seeing Bob coming in on his scooter and getting a coffee and doing his banking at our branch. Always the sweetest man! Rest In Peace Bob!!! Love the staff at PNC Bank Decatur IL
Rest in peace, Bob Hall. You were the closest thing to a step parent I ever had. You tucked me in, read me stories, cooked our meals, helped with homework, and you unknowingly were one of the ones who taught me something that you wouldnt have even known at the time- how to rise above the ashes from the mess you've made, and live life again. I heard your poem more times than I can count, and as an adult who's also been at a point of almost losing everything, looking back at you being the man you were for Chris and I after the fact, that had to have played a part in my strength and perseverance. I wish we had been closer in my adult life, living so far out here didnt help that, but I know that you know how much I loved you, and I know how much you loved me. ♡ you are missed, greatly. I'll keep trying to use your method to win tickets via phone contests (though its not so easy anymore!), and get the pick at concerts with your signature hand signs, and you can help push the picks/tickets out of their fingers into mine. ;) I hope you're resting easy with your mama and siblings. ♡
I love you uncle bob and promise to tell your grandkids all about you when they get older like I did Emma. I'm sorry things went the way they did and we didn't get to say goodbye but I will see you again watch over us
Don't recall the first time we met Bob, but he was part of my Unit in Fort Hood, TX, back in the mid to late 80's. Then, in 1985, I asked a few of the soldiers if they would help me with my Wedding Day, and so the ones that could did. And, Bob was one of them. Ready to help when someone needed him. Over the years, we kinda grew apart, then as age was getting to us, my wife started to seek out our former Soldiers we served with. And, again, Bob answered the call. And, we have kept close contact ever since. And, then we added to our group with other soldiers that served with us. This way, no one will be forgotten, and no one is. We can keep each other in our hearts and minds. When, need be in our prayers. Will miss, you, Bob, but we will never forget you, long as we live. Rest with Jesus, and we will strive to join you when the time comes.

"Lord, we honor our fallen Brother, and we pray for his family and friends from this day forward. For strength, and healing of their hearts. To help them with any memories and no hard feelings during this rough time. No one knows the hurt till they go through it.
We thank you for the good times we shared with our Brother, and even the bad times. But, we also thank you for becoming a part of his life, and for letting him graduated into his Heavenly home. In Jesus Name, Amen.
