Robert Eugene "Road Dog" Hall's Obituary
Robert Eugene “Road Dog” Hall, 59, of Decatur, passed away on March 19, 2021 at Decatur Memorial Hospital, Decatur.
Bobby was born on October 19, 1961 in Lincoln, IL the son of Russell Eugene and Donna Marie Brake Brown Hall Fuller. Bobby is survived by 6 grandchildren: Emma, Hannah, Kaylee, Lily, and twins Patrick and Payton; great-grandson: Adrian Streight and leaves behind several nieces and nephews, also step mother Faith Hall; sister: Debbie Kramer; his dog Tank; 4 good friends: Freak, Casey, Stan and Bob. Bobby was preceded in death by his parents, his stepfather: Tom Hall; and 4 brothers: Billy “Killer” Hall; Jerry “Hippie” Hall; Russell “Gene” Ryals; and Larry Ryals and his only daughter Dacie Ruynon.
Bobby was a dedicated Cubs fan. He loved music, and would attend any concert, many times wiggling his way to the front row. He would also find his way to the backstage to meet the artists, as well as obtaining many souvenirs from the concerts. Bobby loved his family and friends, and loved life. He was fond of animals, and especially loved his dog Tank. Bobby was a great cook, and loved to cook for his family and friends. Also, Bob was in the 1st Calvary and leaves behind many brothers in arms.
Per Bobby’s wishes, there will be no services, and cremation rites have been accorded. There will be a celebration of life at the Abate to be announced later. Memorials in Bobby’s honor may be directed to the Decatur & Macon County Animal Shelter Foundation or Best Friends Vet Care, 2840 N. Oakland Ave, Decatur, IL 62526.
