Dear Barb and Family,I was very saddened to hear of Bob's passing. I can remember many Friday nights at the bowling alley with Barb and her parents. I always had the best time. To the family and loved ones of Mr. Robert Mintler.Mr. Mintler was one of my favorites to call upon when I was vistation minister at First Lutheran. He always had a smile, a firm handshake, and a laugh. He shared a few of his WWII experiences with me, and always had something to say. I was amazed at his strength and vigor for his remarkable age….and the vigor and strength is apparent in his loving family.Robert had a mind of his own and also shared it at times. I count it among my blessings to know him and his family.Now he is at peace, in the presence of Our Lord and in the company of his loved ones.May God bring comfort and peace to those who mourn his passing.
