Our dad, Robert, was a very strong man and a very strong willed man. He had only one eye to see with, and had glaucoma in that eye. He was an avid bowler and golfer. Even with his handicapped sight he managed to beat all his buddies in both sports. They were amazed. Also, he was the oldest golfer in his group. Our dad was very protective of his children, and his wife Mabel. He could be quite gruff at times, and we certainly had differences with him at times, but we always felt his love. We are very proud of our father for all his strength. We will miss our dad very much, but we know he is with Jesus, and being heavenly reunited with his one and only true love, Mabel, our beloved mother. Thank you God for blessing us with this amazing man we are so proud or our dad. May he rest in eternal peace. Special thanks to the staff at Imboden Creek, DMH 4100, Intensive Care and Dr. Larry Holder for their loving care and support.
