Dear Sunderland Family, I worked with Bob at both Wagner Castings and Caterpillar. Bob was a wonderful person. He was as hard working as they come. I enjoyed working with him greatly. I'd like to share a great memory of Bob I have with you. When we were in our training program at Caterpillar we were sent out to Richland College for training on CNC programming. We had to write a program that would machine a little piece of plastic with our program. The instructor was helping Bob and he asked Bob what name he had saved his program under. Bob looked up at him and stated "KISS". We all turned and looked at them and everyone wanted to know why he named it that. Good ole Bob just shrugged his shoulders and simply stated "Keep it simple stupid" I'll miss Bob as a friend and work partner.
