What a wonderful long life, filled with a loving, attentive family. I remember Mrs Filisky's welcoming hospitality when Sherry had her friends in for parties during our teen years. We all felt so much at home there. I remember having one of my first kisses at a "spin-the-bottle" game at one of these gatherings. In another "rite of passage" I had one of my first beers at the Pub. It was people like the Filiskys who helped to create a healthy environment where, as kids,we tried to make sense of our limits, of the accidents that can befall us, and the passage of time which inexorably changes us. We have been blessed to have had role models like her and in those of her generation in our lives.

We are sending our sincere sympathy for the loss of your Mother. It is always very difficult to lose a loved one but a Mother is a bit different. They are special and especially hard to say good-bye. Know that your family and friends are sharing your sadness during this time.Sincerely,Bob and Linda PorterOsceola, Iowa
My symathy to the Filisky family on the loss of your mom and grandmother, Rose Mary. What a long and interesting life she lived! She was well loved and did love in return. My thoughts are with you all. Nancy Quigle
My sympathies to all the family. I do remember visiting with "Aunt Rosie" with Judy several times. What a wonderful lady with a quick smile and genuine warmth. God's comfort to all.
