I have too many memories of Shirley "Momma Whiteside", that I wouldn't have room to list them all here. My favorite ones are watching scary movies with her while Jackie hid in her room or under a blanket with headphones on. I remember helping cut noodles and taste testing her baked goodies. Jackie & I tested out so many of those goodies that we were known as Momma's Little Butterballs for a while! Shirley made the most amazing peanut butter fudge I've ever had. When Jackie & I went out cruisin' Eldo or hanging out with school friends, Momma would be anxiously waiting for us to come home so she could hear all about our adventures. I loved how she sat in the bleachers at the harness racing wearing her head boppers and cheering Jack on. She had the best laugh, and when she got going, you couldn't help but laugh with her. She was so much fun! She was a great Mom to her girls and a wonderful wife to Jack. She will be missed by so many!
