Mary this is Sharon from Walmart. I just heard about Tom from someone. I couldn't believe it. I will always remember how he always came up and wiggled my earlobe or blew on my ear.I remember the day Jim and I ran into you two at Walmart. I think you were both shocked to see us together. I miss seeing you both. Please call me and maybe we could go to lunch sometime. Jim has been gone 6 months now and I still miss him as much as I did the day he passed.

He was a real gem. Such a kind and gentle man. Began having dental work with him in the beginning, at the age of 14 (maybe his first patient), until he retired. I was devastated (and even cried) when I found out he was retiring. But knew it was well deserved. He did so much for me and I will never forget that.
I saw him in December 2023 at Dr Steven’s dental office. I walked in and said I thought that was your car. He immediately stood up, gave me a hug and the we had a nice chat. Just like every time I would see you both out somewhere.
Mary he will be so missed by so many. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

Mary, Duane and I are saddened and shocked! So many wonderful memories of your practice. We were there from the beginning to your retirement! Talk about a family Denistry! What a loving and dear sweet man! Our kids loved going to Dr. Davey as babies to adulthood! He will be greatly missed! Prayers for you Mary! Tom Davey was not only our dentist for over 30 years but a treasured friend as well. We had a lot of fun snow skiing and having dinners together. He will be missed!!
Mary, I'm so sorry for your loss. He was a great friend to me when I first moved in across the hall as a brand-new baby dentist. He had a wonderful sense of humor and was truly a gentle man. The whole Decatur Dist. Dental Society will miss him. He was a great dentist and was held in high esteem by his fellow dentists. He is gone too soon! The Dental Society will be sending a memorial in his honor to Teddy Bear Care. God Bless!

Mary: Vicki and I were sorry to hear about Tom’s passing. I am glad he retired 13 years ago and was able to enjoy himself. I have fond memories of Tom as a classmate at the University of Louisville 54 years ago. Being that he was next to me for all 4 years, I know how great a dentist he would become and how hard he wanted to do the best for his patients. I watched him do such great work for his patients and how kind he was to all those he came in contact with in Louisville. Our condolences to you and your family.

I was shocked to see Tom's obituary. You have my sympathy. Remember the good times had at Claire's restaurant. Bill was proud of the gas pump Tom helped him restore. Please know I am thinking of you and your family. You & Tom were fun to be with.

Mary, we are both so sad to hear about the passing of Tom. He was the best with his dry sense of humor. We both enjoyed having him as our dentist for many years!! He was old school and always make us feel comfortable in the dentist seat!! He will be sorely missed to many people. Please accept our most sincere condolences.
