Cousin Tom and family
It is definitely a difficult time for all of you. As I told Tom in December of last year I was so in hopes that he would be mortally alive to see his and the Irwin family’s grand baby this year. I especially remember fond memories of Tom, Ann and at the time Tim stop off at the ranch on their way back to Cody, Wyoming. Later on Sally Ann came into the picture and then Danny. Sally Ann we saw more of when she would spend time with Aunt Lou and Uncle Dave Spink in Cody. On one visit stop to the ranch we took Tom, Ann and the kids on a rough dirt road up to the back part of the ranch to look at the Rudisill Homestead. That was a real experience for them. One really enjoyable trip for us on various occasions and for Tom, Ann and the family was going through Yellowstone Park and looking at Old Faithful geyser and the Upper and Lower Falls of the Yellowstone River. Finally, Susan and I were back in Illinois in August of 2004 to see my Aunt Wanda Curry and Tom and Ann met us there at the assisted living facility where she stayed. It was a beautiful place in I believe Savoy, Illinois. So many memories to share where I could go on and on. Our heartfelt condolences and remembrances at this time for the Irwin family. May Tom rest in peace with God and Jesus Christ.
Ann and Family – I always enjoyed Tom when he was in court on his collection cases; always a good laugh and a joke or two. My thoughts are with you during this difficult time. God Bless All. Sue Hale, Decatur, IL
I am so sorry for your loss of Tom.I had the honor of meeting Tom when I worked in the Telephone Answering Service years ago. In the winter time he would make sure my car was cleaned off and warm (as I worked nights). Tom was so funny and had a heart of gold. His laugh was infectious. I am glad I had the privilege of knowing him We all had a lot of fun back in the day, and he and his employees had lots of laughs during lunch and after. My sincere condolences.
To the family of Tom Irwin
I met Tom when he worked for the Credit Bureau of Decatur when I worked for another large company in Decatur.
He gave a close friend of mine an opportunity and a job when they desperately needed one — I am not exaggerating that his kindness changed that family’s life completely. He always had a big smile for everyone. He will always have a special place in my heart. God bless him, and you all!
Ann and family: My thoughts are with you. I am sorry to hear of Tom’s death. He will be missed.
Ann, So sorry to hear of your loss.
